It was bound to happen eventually...
Playing Yellow. I accidentally deleted my Pikachu's Thundershock. I was going to reset but that would put me back about 2 hours so fuck it. I'll power through.

One time use TMs are cancer holy fuck I forgot about them
you know what black and white did really wellHMsplaying through fire red again and I don't want to use fucking ROCK SMASH or FLASH fuck off
there's absolutely no need for themjust have pokemon that CAN learn fly be able to FLY. why does my pidgeot need to learn a move to let me fly on his back?maybe like defog, i can understand. but rock smash? here's what i would do: "Hey machamp, punch that rock homie".
Only decent HM moves are Waterfall, Surf and Defog to be honest fam
I never thought HMs were the problem, to be honest. Having attacks that can interact with the environment is actually a cool idea. The problem is that1. the moves themselves fucking SUCK DICK in battle except for surf, which is only decent2. they're such a fucking hassle to remove or delete3. too many of them are required for progression
You see the problem with that, though, right? If your Pokémon can just clear obstacles automatically, then there may as well be no obstacle at all.

if you don't have enough badges your high level Pokemon won't listen anyway
I accidentally hit start when nicknaming Charmander, now I'm stuck with it being called D until Lavender town
