I didn't do too well in the tournament thing. Everyone got matched up against another player from the list and it was a best of 3.

He was super good and obviously knew the in and outs of competitive :/

Still though, I won 1 out of the 3 games. I mean it didn't count towards the tournament because he won 2, but still I guess that's something.

fire red is fun. once you get passed Lt. Surge the game really picks up.

is there any way to recreate the events for the lugia/ho-oh/deoxys events in the game

No, IIRC you need to hunt down one of those cards from a Nintendo event. The only other way is to get Ho-oh from Colosseum and Lugia from XD

I wonder what Perfect Zygarde is going to be like in S&M. I suspect people will try to 1-shot is as soon as possible so it can't transform.

Nope, it had fucking Serious nature (doesn't increase or decrease anything) and only 3 or 4 IV' s (and not even all in the good stats). Don't really care though, I'm not too interested in competitive pokemon. Although I did get a Ralts with Synchronize for my next target.

Eh, it could have been worse anyway, and good call on the Ralts thing, I'll be sure to do it when I'm hunting my shiny Reshiram
