Blue's champion theme has always been my favorite.

It's just a crazy clusterfuck of a song that puts you on edge, and sounds like the regular trainer battle theme on amphetamines.

Speaking of which, I just did the FR/LG Champion rematch for the first time and I think it may be one of my favourite post game battles.

Going into it blind without knowing the team was refreshing, and I got to do something I've had looming over me for years (since i never bothered grinding in FR/LG). The music really added to how great the fight was.

If you want a gen to start on, idk. Fire Red/Leaf Green if you wanna really start classic. If not, maybe Gen 3/5.

I think Gen 4 (Diamond/Pearl) is easily the worst, minus Cynthia's theme.
