That and it won't work anything like advertised. You'd need something like MS hololens for augmented reality like that be even remotely viable.

Well, if you checked out the last few seconds of the video you'll see tidbits of Pokemon being captured so It won't be like how the video is advertising it, my guess is that it'll be like those type of games where you walk outside and you can randomly have someone attack you or something along those lines only with pokemon

So it's the 7/11 mountain dew fueled Doritos Halo pvp game but with pokemon.

I'll avoid it.

Meh. After X/Y and especially ORAS I don't really care much about Pokemon anymore. It could be cool, but the trailer didn't impress me.

The potential of a Gen 7 (when they were showing the chart of Gen 1 - 6 with a new game slotted for 2016) is kinda ok but I'll be waiting for my friends opinions before I go and buy that.

Looks pretty simple. Your phone will lead you in a direction (not sure if it's at random), and when you get to a spot you'll "throw" the little pokeball (via Bluetooth?) which probably has a small electronic gyro to sense a throwing motion, and then you'll have a chance of catching the pokemon. It doesn't seem to have a way to actually stage a battle, though; all the attacks seemed to just come at random, so maybe there'll be something like a 1-on-1 type of battle between two Pokemon.

Kind of a neat idea for those that would enjoy that sort of thing.
