How do you get great balls?

Level up to unlock them and then you have a chance to get them at PokeStops. Obviously the chance to get them is lower than for normal balls.

I always have AR turned off when in a busy area outside, I can't be aiming my camera at people and swiping lol

i always have it off in general... i feel like ar w/ the camera depletes your battery a little bit more

anybody been to their local college ?

 my friends and i went to cal state san bernardino yesterday and there was a crapton of pokespots/pokestops (can never remember what they're called)

my roommate lives on campus all year and he says our college has hella pokestops and tons of Pokemon

So, apparently, there's a way to control what your Eevee evolves into. Remember that episode of the anime where all the Eeveelutions made their debut? They were all trained by three respective trainers. The Flareon was named Pyro, the Vaporeon was named Rainer, and the Jolteon was named Sparky.

If you name your Eevee any one of those nicknames, it will purportedly evolve into the corresponding Eeveelution.
