better than titan x performance at less than half the price with both the gtx 1070 and 1080

released later this month, with new geometric ref cooler design



you could either go with your current build or wait for the new cards to come out

that said i can sell you my gtx 970 for super cheap if I want to get one of these soon but dont count on it

I saw something about this the other day, I might drag my feet a little to see how they play out but it's looking reasonably likely i'll be getting the prebuilt with the 980/i7. Kinda just weighing it up at the moment.

i guess with the prebuilt you get the warranty

you learn a lot from building but im not going to decide that for you

Yeah, I am aware of the benefits of doing it yourself but i'd rather just get it running since my current laptop is really starting to struggle with anything beyond word processing/browsing.

Bit more hassle free to buy it and set it up rather than source the parts and build it too, which is good if you have the time to do it but i'm not too blessed with downtime these days.
