No the Halloween brawl (special event game mode) only lets you choose from 4 characters

It's a horde/survival mode so I assume it was a balance thing

I hadn't played it yet when I commented before but now I understand why these specific characters were chosen.

The 4 characters was a good decision. They made a story around it and it balances out with 2 main damage dealers(Mcree and Hanzo), one healer(Ana) and a mixed bag(Soldier 76) to all work together.

Have the Ana keep safe watching teammates, have the Mcree stay in the front, the Hanzo sniping in the back, and the Soldier roaming. Very fun and challenging.

I think I got pretty lucky, because when I opened the free Halloween box they gave to everyone I got the headless horseman Reaper skin.

Did they re-record some of Mercy's lines? Her voice line "Piece of cake!" sounds different. She doesn't say it happy and chirpy like she used to. Mercy says it in a more serious tone now.

Yes and they changed Hanzo's "Sake!" line as well.
