I like it and it has a lot of potential but they really dropped the ball on a lot of things. 50 file limit total, can't save films, no file browser, have to add person and then they have to be online to view their file share, the host in match making can boot people like a custom game (even in ranked), etc.
The only letdown was the server issues 343 was having.
The only letdown was the server issues 343 was having. Trying to join anyone's lobby was a pain in the ass, matchmaking did not work, it would not allow you to play co-op campaign with friends at times. 343 and Microsoft said fixing these issues were their highest priority though, so it should be good fairly soon. Other than that, H2A campaign is amazing, the terminals add a lot to the story and are very interesting, the skulls are fun, the visuals are stunning, especially the cutscenes. It is amazing being able to go back onto all of my favorite Halo 2 maps and play customs on them again, H2A forge is insane, you can do so much cool stuff in it. It is also really nice not having to switch discs, although if I want to play Reach I still have to.
I would never pay $60 dollars for it, but my Suitemate did in my dorm. Halo 2A forge is aaamaaaaazing. If you're a diehard halo fan and haven't played the old game in awhile I would say go for it.Haven't played any multiplayer except for halo 3 yet because shitty server problems

It's fun.
Quote from: Byrne on November 13, 2014, 07:40:16 PMThe cutscenes and character models are subpar. The bloody things were outsourced to another company and they don't even looks as good as the Halo Wars cutscenes, the characters mover awkwardly, the aliens have no life to them, every humans face looks like it came out of chernobyl and the Chief is wrapped in clingfilm.Details to the cutscenes were needlessly changed and the music, which was the one perfect aspect of Gaylo 2, was altered. It's a disgrace. What's a character mover?

ITT: everyone's going to get rowdy about Byrne's Opinion
I just played a Big Team Battle match on Timberlands. How far we've come.
Remastered cutscenes are stellar. Art style of H2 is adhered to far more closely than CEA adhered to CE's [though I still love CEA's visuals]. Only complaint I have is that the Forerunner architecture should be a bit more withered.Remastered soundtrack is, for the most part, excellent. Salta's pronounced drums really work well with H2's soundtrack IMO. Though one or two tracks are a messed up [I despise Heavy Price Paid's remastering in particular].Haven't watched the terminals because the only person who uploaded them uploaded them in German.Still waiting to actually get and play the game though. But from a lore/production value standpoint, it's off to a great start. And the only multiplayer I'll probably care enough to play/watch is CE, so...
