The trial period is now unlimited, you can play for as long as you want but it caps you at lvl 35.

It's a vertical progression system with a lot of class hegemony. Meaning after you get to max level with all your skills, you only need to work on getting better gear which drops like candy. I'd recommend it but I'm super biased, make a trial account and see for yourself, I thimk you still need to buy the base game though.

I play on Gilgamesh, it's the second most popular server in both NA data centers. The only problem with that is that character creation for that server is almost always restricted. In order to get a character on there you either have to make your character at like 4am right after the most recent update to the restrictions or make a character on another server and pay for a world transfer.

I personally think this song for the new expansion is meh compared to the last one. I understand it's not as epic because it's not a huge epic war between two factions, but I still find it a bit weak.

I didn't watch the video while listening as well since it spoils quite a bit

Wait so you changed back to an elf? But your Hyur was decent looking though! I don't hate Elezen, they certainly aren't the worst playable race (that'd be the potatoes) but every elf I try to make looks terrible because of their giraffe neck.

They moved the NA servers to FUCKING SACRAMENTO?!

Why in the ever living fuck would they not move them to Dallas or Chicago?! Literally smack dab in the middle of NA?! No, they sent them to fucking Commiefornia and now everyone on the east coast can go fuck themselves if their latency was already mediocre before the server transfer. There is literally no good reason to have it on the west coast when having it in either Chicago or Dallas would have benefited everybody.

EDIT: YYUUPP, my connection is somewhat-decent but not as good as it once was (Condition in-game says Good instead of Excellent), I can immediately tell there's slight delays in interacting with characters. Guess I'm not raiding in Stormblood either.

So i started leatherworking and fell in love. I imagine itll get grindy later down the line but ill love it for now. Everything feels so involved unlike the mundane nature of WoW type MMO's.

Classes seem to have personality to them, Lancer at least feels like its own thing, i cant really explain it

I based my Hyur off the girl in the chocobo outfit in the square because I liked how she looked

That being said, yeah I think she's great looking, but at the same time I think I actually made an elf that's not ugly either, because that is VERY hard to do. Plus all the memories behind it. So idk.

Odds are it was the most cost effective thing for them to do. My connection is thankfully still on excellent, but my friends in England who I've played with for 2 years now might have to transfer because they're getting 200 tier ping and not being able to do as much DPS and be as effective. But the issue is I have other friends in the States in my FC as well, so I'd be torn if they transfer and I have to make a decision.

I hope they go to Texas, but I think this decision was final.
