The fact that it was a kickstarter game, entirely funded by fans, is a perfectly valid reason to be upset about it.

you're absolutely correct: no man's sky is a 4-5 at best in this hierarchy of mad i just pulled out of my ass

but during the first month of its life, it's riding snugly in the 8 range, and it shouldn't be

you can be upset about the game all you want, but NO ONE should be angry--let alone vindictive

Mass Effect 3 should be at least a 3 on that list.

The ending of the game is not that great, but Mass Effect 3 by itself is pretty good. It is the weakest in the series when it comes to story but nearly everything else about the game is not bad like others make it out to be.

If the stance or opinion is edgy or unpopular, we all know Verb is going to either agree with it or support it.

How is that any different than the tanks in World of Tanks or paid DLC?

Along with what Turkey has said, the game is never ever coming out and is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) crow funded game in development. All the trailers and gameplay footage is nothing more than smoke and mirrors. A good amount of controversy was cooked up on Escapist because they posted a story from a guy who left the project and talked about how it was a pyramid scheme. They only made videos to put together a neat looking trailer but there was no substance behind it. Not to mention the man in charge is known for being a huge hack.

Repeated delays along with continually adding "new ideas" into the game. It's the hottest selling piece of Vaporware ever made. Compare the below image with where the game is now in terms of what has already been released.
