Nintendo should totally just make a console version of Pokemon like Skyrim

Like make it super HD and have you able to control the Pokemon in fights. Also you should be able to visit every single region and catch every single Pokemon. And while they are at it, give us more move slots. 4 just isn't enough. Also they should give us the choice to join the evil team. That would make it so much better. Gamefreak are obviously bad at designing the games so they should just listen to the fans and let them run the whole thing.

What's so terrible about them? I know your post is just a parody of what a 10 year old would say about video games, but an open world full 3D real-time pokemon game? I can see that turning out awesome if done correctly.

If they turned out good then great, but I have a horrible sinking feeling it could just bomb horribly. I'd like another game like Colosseum though/

and then put more regions and pokemons and make the game in like a week because i cant wait and have every starter available and have a new battle type where you go into FPS mode and you shoot at each other and call is pokemodern warfare and then with the old regions have all the legendaries available and have all the new features of the remakes and make it an mmo and add new online features and quadruple battles and replace ditto breeding with a new prostitute feature and have an automatic feature that makes your pokemons do slave work to level up while your off and add all the retro art styles and make a million custom trainer models and be able to start out in any region and announce this tomorrow and itll sell billions and thats how game freak can save the company

Now which other loved franchise has leapt from top-down to open-world 3D? As much as the fanboys would argue, that's turned out pretty well.

Obviously it would have to be done well, by a great team; we all know some (ie. Obsidian) do a better job than others (ie. Bethesda's dev arm)

Be careful what you wish for. Developers tend to flop when pursuing projects that are "different". Especially Nintendo, they love artistic failure.
