Quote from: Tyger on March 17, 2015, 09:05:00 AMWhat is this NX thing they speak of?Ign said it would be revealed next yearI read this article on Gamespot.http://www.gamespot.com/articles/first-details-of-nintendo-s-next-system-the-nx/1100-6425959/It's going to be an entirely new console from what it sounds like. And I was actually thinking of getting a Wii-U soon. Wii-U's only three years old, wow. But obviously didn't live up to expectations.
>these reactionsWhat the flying fuck, people? No more emulators is a good thing.Nintendo has a huge back catalog of games. They're going to make bank from this. Anything that keeps them from going under (as long as they don't sell out) is good news.

Just as long as every game isn't some FTP bullshit like Pokémon Shuffle, I'll be fine....I have a bad feeling about this.
Ugh, touch screen controls though.

Quote from: Kupo on March 17, 2015, 10:04:08 AMAnything that keeps them from going under (as long as they don't sell out) is good news.Nintendo made enough money from the Wii and 3DS that they can suffer multiple blunders like the WiiU and still be financially stable.

Wait, why are people not going to buy a Wii U dough this is going to be for mobile devices, not consoles right?

It's possible it's their new home console. If it is their new home console, then people holding off on buying a WiiU makes sense.Oh well, its understandable hopefully it has backwards compatibility so they can try the Wii U games and I can play my Wii U games on the next console

I'm fine with this. The gba4ios emulator kicks ass on the iPhone for playing Pokemon ROMs, so I would expect this thing to work the same or better.
