When I talk about pettiness and taking things too seriously this is what I'm talking about. Can't just be a fun discussion about vidya. Have to drown it in negativity and dumb arguments.

I play a lot of non-verb-approved games. We have different likes and dislikes. I'm generally ok with that. Frankly I'd be more worried if you said it was a game you were excited about

I don't think I said anyone has to like what I like.
I don't think I said no ones opinions affect mine.

I said I don't base what I enjoy off of what is popular or off of other people's opinions. I recognize I have pretty niche interests gaming wise, and since it is an entertainment medium I play what I find entertaining.

My interests have actually changed quite a lot over the years. Before 2009 I was pretty much into dude bro shooters. Can't stand them now. Wouldn't exactly call that close mindedness but eh.

I think you might be confusing me not taking you seriously with me not taking anything seriously.
