I did indeed. They are certainly far from perfect, but they were the best choice in my opinion.
Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.
Caesar is a huge bitch, so I never did any of his quests.
....What happened to Korra? .__.
To your untrained eyes, it may look as though mankind is making a comeback. In the NCR, you have something that resembles a nation state. Savage as it is, in Caesar's Legion, you have an organized society. But neither of these offer a future. They're regurgitations of the past.
Buried.
I helped Yes Man my first playthrough, then Mr House, then the NCR every time after. I have never done Caesar though, I cannot bring myself to do it when I see people being crucified and see slaves hauling stuff around his stupid fort. I have to go kill that bitch immediately.
I struggle with that too <.<Whilst crucifixions are fine by me, the whole slavery thing isn't exactly something I tolerate. My first playthrough was for the Legion because Vulpes is one cool cat, but apart from any moral qualms, the game is really heavily biased towards the NCR. So many of the quests, vendors, companions and areas and loot becomes unavailable by siding with the legion :l
Daily reminder that deadlines caused Obsidian to cut all of the content that would have grounded the Legion. The Legion is separate from the lands they administrate, the citizens of Legion territory have local governments (i.e. the Legion is a military independent of the territories under it's protection) and generally a better quality of life than the NCR for the most part.
That's not including California right? Cause the NCR itself is pretty damn good.
Not really. NCR has widespread poverty, class conflict and press ganging. Legion territory is more agrarian, has a higher base cleanliness and is safe to travel unlike NCR territory. Even going from Shady Sands to Maxson you're likely to get jumped a dozen or more times. Not so in Legion territory.
Damn...but still, I would pick the NCR over the Legion any day.
I think we're all forgetting how you can side with Elijah and decimate the Mojave with an army of Holograms and the cloud.
Wait.... You can do that?
Yep. It's one of the ways to complete Dead Money. YouTube
I always collect evidence on my way to the Strip and then convince Swank to send Benny up to the 13th Floor where I kill him.
Why would you kill Benny?
