40k is my waifu but warhammer is alright. I'm not a big fantasy buff but seeing as how 40K is basically Warhammer in Space, there is enough similarity for me to be interested in it <.<

Since this IS Creative Assembly, don't be surprised with day one DLC. They've been doing it since Shogun 2. Or Napoleonic Wars. One or the other.

Also some stuff on generals and stuff in Total Warhammer here.

tl;dr: You have two types of generals, your basic Lords and your Legendary Lords like Karl Franz which will have their own questlines within the campaign which will net them some cool shit and result in an epic battle.
