A game to surpass metal gear

Gameplay demo with English subs, it doesn't look as awful as I expected, it has some interesting ideas and actually looks kind of fun.

God forbid we got a stroy based game which is about The Boss instead of this bullshit.

What would be so horrible about a game where we play as her during the events of WW2?

because you'd just have to push the boundaries of "legendary hero" even further back to retain what makes "metal gear" metal gear.

there's an enigmatic legendary hero in every one of the games and their legacy hovers over the protag's head like a guillotine. mg1~mgs1, it was big boss that was the enigmatic hero. in mgs2, it was solid snake. mgs3, in explaining the story of big boss, created the boss as its enigmatic hero. this concept is literally the heart and soul of metal gear, and without kojima handling it, i dont trust anyone to try. (not that i wouldve wanted him to try even if he was still working on metal gear).

if anything you could make a story out of big boss's life during ww2. but leave the boss out of it. as far as im concerned, we know the perfect amount of information about her life.
