a stealth survival game? sounds like tlou, which i loved. 4-player co-op is good, too.

Oh, yeah. It looks like it was meant to be a completely different game before they tacked on some vague connection to Ground Zeroes.

It's a Metal Gear Game because it can be somewhat grounded in realism and have a geo-political and philosophical message to it. That and something heavily narrative.

It seems to just be zombamboes with Ground Zeroes slapped on at the end. And yeah kinda. Kojima having his hands on his baby does kinda make it a MGS game.

You're right that there isn't a lot we've seen yet. It just seems... eh, idk. I'm not looking forward to it.

And TPP didn't on a lot of fronts, yeah, but the cassette tapes and cutscenes still had a MG feel to it for the most part. Just a shame no more codec for cassette.
