I wouldn't mind a WW2 shooter again. WaW's campaign captured the brutality of it perfectly and had such a dark and amazing atmosphere. Darkest CoD they ever did.

Black Ops 3 is a little much. 2 ended it nicely. Besides, I'm getting a bit tired of the whole black ops setting.

Do we really need an announcement of a Call of Duty? I mean we all know that they're going to start advertising the next one in the spring and it'll be out sometime in November of the same year just as surely as the sun comes up and goes down each day.

Not that I'd ever buy another call of duty game in my life, but I don't know if I could go back to World War 2 in video games.

I've been spoiled by all the various tacticool assault rifles of modern warfare.

A FPS with bare bone ironsights would feel incredibly dated to me.

They can't come up with an original title, or just want to sell on the name of World at War, they just throw a 2 next to it. So, the misled masses will buy the game based on assumptions. Lol, Activision, rolling the industry.

I would actually consider buying this Call of Duty if it were another World at War. That was my favorite CoD game hands down.

I really hope they do go for a historical one rather than near future/slightly less near future. It's amusing how that genre has actually gotten stale given the seemingly limitless possibilities of the unknown <_<
