You purchased something that was free?
Wow, what an in depth and perceptive review!
"Dishonored" was recently made free for those subscribing to Microsoft's "Xbox Network Premium" service. As I had not previously played the game, I purchased it."Disgraced" is a first person shooter with JRPG elements. Set in a fantasized version of the middle ages, you play as the treasure hunter turned mercenary, Corpo Latino. Framed for killing the King, and engaging in (consensual) sexual relations with the Empress' daughter, Corpus must fight through hordes of Imperialist Nazis on a quest for revenge. There are some obvious plot holes, from the very beginning. The one I will mention has to do with the "rat infection". The colony where the game is set suffers from a mysterious ailment, which the Emperor endlessly strives to cure. However, the "plague" is just a horde of mice that run around murdering people. If they want to cure it, why don't they just kill the rats? The gameplay is mediocre, with many quick time events. Furthermore, the game is terribly inconsistent. It tells me to avoid killing people, but gives me a sword and bow and arrow? Great logic, guys.Overall, the game is just a reskin of "Grave Robber", but with a far less interesting protagonist than Laurel Kraft.1/10.
