Are these games any fun? This one is coming in early 2015 and I'm wondering if I should buy it. Anyone here plan on getting it?
Also what are the games like other than killing big monster

I want to get MH4U on 3DS when it comes out.

Banjo and I have MH3U on Wii U but Banjo won't get 4 unless it's on the Wii U >.>

Have MH3U on Wii U. Games are pretty grindy. Start off slow, but build. They're more fun with friends. There's definitely something there otherwise they wouldn't have the rabid fan base they do. But I probably won't end up getting 4. Just because there are other games I'm more interested in.

Nigger it's the perfect game for raping monsters with some friends, I'm getting it when its released. The MH games are usually slow in the beginning, but as you get to higher ranks and get harder(and fun-er) quests it gets way better.

I started a character, but got distracted by the holidays and other games. Left my consoles behind while I traveled. Now the holidays are over, I'm busy again, and I bought Sleeping dogs + Disgaea. Don't know when I'm gonna get back around to monster hunter. Especially with all the games this year.

I'm determined to get past that first village eventually though.
