So because Sony said that they wouldn't allow their customers to make the decision on whether or not they wanted to pay into an optional service (EA access) it means that MS, EA, and DICE are shills?

Well, I'm not paying a sub to play all their games when only a few would interest me anyways. I may get Battlefront if itworks and all. It looks fun. It's not a Battlefield game with a Star Wars skin. Even though they did remove some features like space battles.
