curved displays? (need a monitor)

need a new monitor for my setup and i'm thinking about getting a curved one. are they fad? do they really make the visual experience more immersive? even if it does, does the extra cost warrant the hike in price over a flat screen?

I mean the money you would be putting towards a curved monitor could be going to a better flat one.

I remain unconvinced by them, the one at my friend's house was cool and all but it's just kinda meh.

Certainly not worth the money it cost over a regular TV/screen.

I'd go with 4K or something over a curved one <.<

Personally I'd ignore the curved shit and get that Acer 27".

I've got an LG IPS monitor, great for PC and console, although they don't sell those anymore which makes me doubt the quality of it...

If you aren't sitting with your eyes dead center of the screen curved monitors look odd and can give you a headache

Then yeah, I highly recommend the monitor I posted above. It's 27", which is large enough to be a TV but small enough to work as a competitive monitor. The colours are just GORGEOUS, and it has an impressive 5MS response time (which you might not even notice, but I did.)

It also looks pleasing to the eye. I haven't had any problems at all with this monitor, and if you have the money, I highly recommend it.

The Samsung is far better, IMO. Better response time, brighter, more colours, etc...
