Just completed the game 100%

So how is it?

Left my 3ds at home. Pretty gutted cos I forgot this was coming out.

Exelent game overall. Metroid is back in full force.

While it is a bit more linear than Zero Mission and Super, the sense of exploration and atmosphere is as good as it has ever been. The game is a pretty good challenge as well.

I only have a couple of complaints than are mostly minor in the grand scheme of things

-The music is great but alot of the Original Metroid 2 remixed soundtracks are played quite low as opposed to the remixes they use from Super Metroid and the Prime Trillogy

-There is a certain power up in the game which has some pretty important properties that are not communicated to the player. You will only discover these things by sheer accident or by looking it up, which is strange because the game communicates what how it wants you to play incredibly well, except for this one thing.


I'd probably score the game an 8 or a 9

Planning on picking this up at some point, maybe in October when I have nothing else to play, and it gives me some time to finish my repay of Super Metroid on 3DS

It was mostly BDobbinsFTW/Crowbcat type faggots being salty about the AM2R shutdown and amiibo support.

Ordered it, now I wait for it to arrive tomorrow
