Old thread is dead, but I love this game.

If you haven't tried this game, try it, if you weren't a fan before, try it again.

I haven't been this involved with an online shooter basically ever, and this game is comprised of all these things I generally hate about first person shooters.

There's no respawning, it's a slow methodical game (unless you're good), there's no straight up death match, and there's one hit headshots and realistic bullet damage.

It's a different kind of shooter that takes an extremely long time to adjust to, at least in my case, and map awareness/tactical play takes precedence over fast twitch reflexes.

I should hate this game but I can't stop playing it. I'm actually considering building a PC just so I can play this game and see the differences, my older brother who hates all things PC gaming is raving about it.

What is this sorcery?

Honestly, the main draw for me is the memes.

I didn't start because of memes, but the game's OPs are pretty solid and I'm not really needing to throw a bunch of money towards the DLC ones.
NEVER get the starter edition.
The year one operatives are solid, and are still used more than the current DLC characters. It's a pretty balanced game, and I can't believe Uibsoft managed it this well.

Real talk, they decreased thickq and increased the booty for everyone else. Twitch's elite skin increased the thiccness ten fold.
