My dad just taught me a slight glimpse of his moves he teaches to his students (he works at Blackwater, now called Academii), and jesus christ the man is scary. He didn't call it CQC/B, I forget the name, but his teacher is now is Israel training their special forces and shit.Anyway, it's amazing such basic things can disable people, and in a stunning fashion too. I got my face slapped (lightly) as it was happening cuz his example was someone choking you against the wall. No one expects a bitch slap.ANYWHO, I'm gonna shower now and reflect on it. He offered to actually teach me sometime soon, so I think I'll take him up on it. My brother was in Afghanistan as a private contractor (mechanic stuff), and he and another worker had arguments over cigarettes (or rather the other guy was aggressive and threw a pack at his face after he accused him of stealing them, which he didn't). He came at him with a punch and my brother stepped to the side, locked his arm, and snapped his wrist back and broke it and took him to the ground. They took him aside and said "you have special tactics experience", and my dad couldn't stop smiling like an idiot because he was so proud.Anyway, basically my dad is like Big Boss minus nukes and kept you waiting huh's?I thought I'd share that story with you all.

Krav Maga?
the one true God is Doctor Doom and we should all be worshiping him.

Krav Maga? That high kick alone is a no no. It probably has some elements in it, but I forget what it was called. My dad's a black belt in it though (which I didn't learn until this year), so that's cool. I showed him the Big Boss disarming Eli at Mother Base and he nodded and went that's exactly how to do it. Pretty cool he can do the same shit.

Judo or Jujitsu then, I guess.

Tell ya whatI'll ask him when he gets home, because I'm getting as annoyed as you guys are thinking of the name lol.
But he really wasn't tho.He was just evil/crazy version of Otacon. He was still a pussy, and he still pissed his pants.
Mainly the difference is Krav Maga seems to be prolonging fights in a martial arts way, rather than disabling the opponent.
The way my father and others implement it is you want to disable them as fast as possible. That means dislocating muscles, bringing them down to the ground, breaking arms, etc.
Ah you were right. It is based on Krav Maga, but it has Marine Corps and other various tactics implemented. It emphasizes taking the other guy down as quickly as possible.QuoteThe way my father and others implement it is you want to disable them as fast as possible.
