True, but I like the idea that Big Boss never hated Solid Snake, did what he did to help him, and spent his last moments reconciling with the only son he really cared about (and never stopped caring about).

I agree. "Race" is as stupid a way of summarising MGSV's theme as "Scene" is as stupid a way of summarising MGS3's theme.
