I mean, the purpose of censoring spoilers isn't for the purpose of not knowing the tweests. It's so that the people here can go into the game with the least amount of bias as possible. If people are going around saying, "there were a lot of stupid things in the game", then it'll be harder for the players to just play the game without looking for faults.

Or in other words, we kind of want to form our own opinions before discussing it. I don't think that's a lot to ask for.

Theories are one thing, confirmation is another. One is based on assumptions of circumstantial evidence, the other is a direct confirmation of the subject based on a person's opinion.

I don't think anyone (besides possibly Sal) is really angry with LC's post. I'm just cautioning him to be careful with what he posts here considering that generally we (being those wanting to play the game with few biased expectations) just want to go in with a blank slate.

Even if the case of that situation were the opposite, saying a lot of positive confirmations also taints a person's ability to take in information in an unbiased way; it could lead to an altered perception of the content as it appears to either extreme (joy or disgust).

Like I've gone on for multiple pages saying that even the smallest detail can ruin the game for me.

Even the smallest detail can ruin the game for me. I know that seems unreasonable but I've done it in the past. Where I learned a very minor detail, that my mind put together with other known facts about the game, and I assumed the correct outcome that I expected from the first level because of that one detail.

I know I have no right to ban any of these things but if you could do me the favour of following these rules I'll love you forever.
