I might get round to it eventually. I've definetely mellowed out on it a bit now. It's still disappointing but it's not that terrible.

Death Stranding won't come out until 2018. They haven't even chosen an engine yet.

I might just review every MGS game I've played, I've been itching to take a crack at MGS3

Is anyone else worried about the story? There seems to be a lack of cutscenes, or they just haven't shown many. And no doubt, story was sacrificed because of the open ended gameplay. I'm really interested in the beginning. I heard it's pretty linear, and amazing. I remember reading about it, where someone was able to see/play it. That hospital section, from the first trailer for the game, back when we didn't even know if it was MGS.

Yeah, oh my god.

I didn't want to jinx it or anything, but I feel like there's... not going to be any story at all.

I love the gameplay but I love the story mode more than anything else... if it's going to be an exact opposite of MGS4 I'm going to be disappointed.

MGSV's gameplay is pretty spot on, it's a shame travelling between missions can be extremely fucking tedious. Seriously why can't I just call in my chopper to drop me somewhere else in the map?

It's going to be action/horror in the same way that Metal Gear Solid V was action/stealth.

I'm assuming he just meant in terms of character control and versatility. Both those games feature a cover system with 3rd person shooting.

I'm hoping the game is, thematically, just an expanded version of the prologue for TPP. That felt really out-of-place considering the entirety of MGSV, but clearly Kojima wanted to depart from stealth long ago.

I hope there are mechs made entirely from sticks and ropes.

What do you guys think about this?

Reedus = Kojima
Baby = PT
Oil on his hands = Kojima feels like he has blood on his hands due to the people who lost their jobs because of him
Umbilical cord = Kojima was meant to breath life in to PT to revive his career
Dead Whales and Fish = Other dead dreams from dead developers
C-section = Symbolises that Konami stole his dream (the baby)
5 people = The 5 Snakes symbolises what Kojima's career has been about up until now
Handcuffs = The shackles of Konami, finally broken

Not gonna lie, I'm not really hyped or excited for Death Stranding right now. I'm just interested.
