I probably shouldn't have been so trigger happy in MGS3. I'm conflicted as to whether The Sorrow is an excellent boss or  dumb one because of it.

But hey, I got his camo, so...

Fun fact

In the mountain range (where you have to avoif the Hind), there's a soldier being eaten by a Vulture. If you kill and eat the Vulture, when you face The Sorrow, that soldier and the Vulture will show up and be like "You ate me! You ate me!"

Ugh, why the fuck did they cut so much, I know we already talked about this, but it's   irritating that they cut an.entire ending from the game plus a lot of other stuff.

It's like ordering a massive KFC with extra gravy, but they forget to give you the extra gravy.


You still enjoyed the delicious big ass meal, but you wish that extra gravy was there.

For some of us it's more like only getting the extra gravy. I wanted to see how the story played out, but it all got cut. :c

I was expecting at least 7 hours of cutscenes. In reality, we get 5 at best, 3 on first play through.

But it's not even that. The cutscenes don't really do anything. I reckon that at least 70% of the game's cutscenes are irrelevant. Which is staggering when every cutscene was crucially relevant in the previous games.

There's no definitive first, second or third act. The game doesn't feel well-paced because it isn't. It abruptly ends after and hour and a half of "story", and which point it promises more (most of which can be entirely missed if you don't know how to trigger it.)

If this is some kind of metaphydical joke about a missing game being our Phantom Pain, like some have theirised, than not only does that not work (to have a Phantom Pain, you nust lose somrthing, not start off without it. A person born eith legs doesn't have a phantom pain for their legs.), it feels like a cheap way to cut content and effort out of the final product.

What would have been a better idea would be to remove an entire playspace (like Afghanistan) from being playable during the second Chapter. Or something like that.

Playing through MGS1. Died like 5 times in the blast furnace. Fuck you, hard to reach ration.

FoV increase, so the camera isn't so zoomed the HECK in. I tried it out for a bit and I have to say it's much much better.

Sorry if I missed a post about this. Kinda took a break from the game for a week or so.
