How tf have some of you guys finished already? I've only just got to Africa and I got the game early too.

What's the best way to rack in that GMP?

Send your combat unit on deployments. They rake in the GMP.

Thats what I've been doing. Wondering if there was a faster way, other than replaying training ops.

Try doing side ops, they pay quite a bit. I kinda miss Peace Walker's GMP system where you would get your spent GMP back after development is finished/

Is there any use of Fulton-ing the containers at MB?

Not very impressed with the story. Cutscenes don't happen very often but when they do they overstay their welcome. There should have been more, but shorter cutscenes, that occurred more often. When you are doing missions and exploring, the time you spent without seeing a cutscene or knowing what is happening in the story really racks up and it makes the story feel way too barren.
But for me personally, that doesn't make me feel too bad because the gameplay is so fucking great. Exploring the open world, searching/raiding villages and outposts, gathering recourses to improve mother base, hunting animals, there's so much shit to do. And the combat is easily the most satisfying of any stealth game I've ever played. The gun play is fantastic, cqc is fun, everything just works really really well. So much freedom in this game, so well done. And it makes me really excited for online, which is looking to be a whole other beast.

Still, Big Boss barely speaks in this game. I dont see why they had to ditch Hayter so poorly.

Apparently TPP's collector's edition mentions stuff about a cut mission that was kind of huge to the plot.

I haven't read the article yet, because I just started playing yesterday >.> Time to go reassign more plebs to R&D.

I also bought an Xbone controller to use on my PC, yesterday. It felt odd at first but I adjusted to it and forgot about it completely. The bumpers are more reliable when holding them down, the triggers aren't squeaky, the D-Pad has more of a 'click' to it, and the control sticks are less resistant and less "sticky," especially from the neutral position. And, finally, that awful battery pack is tucked nicely out of the way this time. The overall quality of the controller, from the buttons to the plastic and the rubber, feels dramatically better than my super-good condition 360 controller I'm using for comparison (and my other controllers with worn-down control sticks).

It's difficult to fathom how anybody could improve this much upon something already so close to perfection :3

The only thing that feels off is the rumble. It feels a bit weak, and I don't know if I'm imagining things, but I think it was making a sort of squeaky noise. I'll have to try it out some more to confirm.

I like the gameplay to this game better than all the other Metal Gears, but in terms of story so far, I still think MGS3 is my favorite. I'm still not that far though, mind you, so it might change.
