You will find out who you are not a thousand times, before you ever discover who you are. I hope you find peace in yourself and learn to love instead of hate.
1. Construct new buildings to make your population happy or to unlock new types of units.

2. Conquer everything

You have an advisory that literally tells you what to do. Set the advice on high and ask what to do/build.

Conquer everything
I would do this, but also be careful. If you take over too much you'll over expand, hurt the populace, and not have enough money. Don't be afraid to sack cities to bigger empires for said money. Don't get into too many wars at once.

If you have any other questions, lemme know. Big thing to note is ME2 is the slowest paced of the Total War games and thus, the heaviest hitting. You mainly wanna tie down the infantry with your knights and what not, and flank around with your cavalry and SLAM into em.

Well, slam isn't the word I'd use, more like nudge.

Holy crap, it's like the units are the descendants of arthritic snails or something.

OT: Keep the pope happy, it'snot fun having one of your most levelled and effective family members getting burned at the stake for heresy. Try to have a lot of priests and send them to places with low Christianity, so that they'll hopefully upgrade to bishops. That way, there's a fair chance that the next pope will start off with a liking towards you.

Conquering is best when it's against a non-Catholic faction, like the Byzantines or Moors, or some faction that's had a falling out with the Papacy so that you don't risk excommunication, which opens you up to the wrath of your fellow Catholic factions.

You can try the Darth Mod. It's much better with all of that shit. They get slammed in Shogun 2 (or more so fly in the air lol), but Attila does it the best in a more realistic fashion I think.

Honestly, I'm to lazy to mod the Total War games prior to Shogun 2. I don't play them enough anymore to bother with it.

Same. After I've played Attila for 87 some odd hours, going back to them just hurts. Still, Medieval 2 is probably the most consistent one of the lot.

Yeah, though what I liked most about Medieval 2 was the Kingdoms expansion. Probably one of my favourite of the series.

I played it when it was all over and done with, and never really dove in the campaign. Always did MP with friends, like sieges. God sieges were perfect in that game with wall strength and what not. Attila's walls are like paper.

Yeah, I find I rarely bothr with wall defence if my enemy has even a single piece of artillery in that game, choke points are far more effective forms of defense if you have a half-way decent garrison. And I do quite miss the cannon towers from Medieval 2, those were always good fun.

Well, if you're playing the Teutonic expansion, there's no Papacy, so you'd be right.

Which reminds me, I need to continue the Teuton's on Attila in my thread (you should read my updates).

I'll start it soon I suppose.
