Conquer everything
You have an advisory that literally tells you what to do. Set the advice on high and ask what to do/build.Quote from: GatsbyConquer everythingI would do this, but also be careful. If you take over too much you'll over expand, hurt the populace, and not have enough money. Don't be afraid to sack cities to bigger empires for said money. Don't get into too many wars at once.
and flank around with your cavalry and SLAM into em.
Quote from: Luciana on October 02, 2015, 03:26:08 PMand flank around with your cavalry and SLAM into em.Well, slam isn't the word I'd use, more like nudge.Holy crap, it'slike the units are the descendents of arthritic snails or something.OT: Keep the pope happy, it'snot fun having one of your most levelled and effective family members getting burned at the stake for heresy. Try to have a lot of priests and send them to places with low Christianity, so that they'll hopefully upgrade to bishops. That way, there's a fair chance that the next pope will start off with a liking towards you.Conquering is best when it's against a non-Catholic faction, like the Byzantines or Moors, or some faction that's had a falling out with the Papacy so that you don't risk excommunication, which opens you up to the wrath of your fellow Catholic factions.
You can try the Darth Mod. It's much better with all of that shit. They get slammed in Shogun 2 (or more so fly in the air lol), but Attila does it the best in a more realistic fashion I think.

I don't play them enough anymore to bother with it.

Still, Medieval 2 is probably the most consistent one of the lot.
Keep the pope happy

God sieges were perfect in that game with wall strength and what not. Attila's walls are like paper.
>implying the pope would excommunicate the tuetocic

(you should read my updates).
