For intelligent people, though, we're capable of realizing that egalitarianism is a broad viewpoint that MUST INCLUDE feminism in order to be valid. If you exclude feminism, you don't have egalitarianism. Because if you're not a feminist, you're saying that women don't deserve to be equal. That they shouldn't be equal.

You can't be an egalitarian if you're not a feminist. Feminism and masculism are both necessary components of egalitarianism, and if you don't believe that women should have equal rights, then you can't be an egalitarian.

I didn't bother to read through your entire argument with Verb because I'm feeling pretty lazy, but I think I get the gist of why he's upset with you. I'm really not sure what it is that you're missing here. Feminism is just a description of a set of beliefs that falls under the definition of egalitarianism. Egalitarians believe that everyone should be equal, right? Cool, that's egalitarianism. Feminism is the belief that women should be equal to men, right? Cool, that's feminism. Under the definition of egalitarianism, you believe that women should be equal to men, yes? So you are, by definition, a feminist. It's not possible to be an egalitarian and not subscribe to the idea of feminism.
