I do count games as art - and this to me looks like censorship. Devs make games - its up to them to make it the way they want. If you do not like it - simply don't follow those devs or that product.
Variety is precious and we should embrace it. When people start forcing their views on art - it becomes filtered and hinders creativity.

Overwatch has guns - guns that are used to kill other players - lets remove guns from Overwatch because guns are bad. They don't need guns in that game, they can have a debate over pressing issues of the modern world.
