Thanks for more proof that you are the main reason Verb.

PC gamers are incapable of arguing facts, so I demonstrate that by being an elitist myself.
To show how fucking stupid you are. That's the point.
I'm not allowed to be dogmatic, but PC gamers are. Cool hypocrisy, bro.
Yes, they are. Whether you think something looks better based solely on the fact that it has more polygons is an opinion. I might think it looks like garbage.
Realism =/= good. If you think Uncharted 4's graphics are good, that is your opinion.
The same goes for frame rate. I might think certain games look way better in 0.00001fps than 1200fps.
Quote from: Big Boss on June 08, 2016, 11:16:02 AMCould I buy a good gaming PC for the same price as a new console?Explain"Good" would be stretching it, but you can get an acceptable PC for that kind of money. You won't run recent games on max settings at 60fps in 1080p or 4K, but you'll probably be able to run them on low to mid settings.

I play games on PC and I'm arguing with you on a level headed and understanding platform I think.
I think you already made your point on that a few pages ago.

I couldn't give a fuckin shit. In mah opinion, tha only playas whoz ass is at liberty ta chizzle/add shiznit ta tha game is tha pimpers. Everyone else should leave tha game ridin' solo or make they own game. It aint nuthin but like pissin up in a museum. If tha pimper supports it, like Bethesda do, thatz fine yo, but I still don't smoke wit dat shit. Would you wanna be playaz wit one of mah thugs whoz all gravy wit you pissin all over his house, biatch? I shizzle wouldn't."But mah playas has they own copy of tha game."And you can do whatever you want. By all means, mod. Y'all KNOW dat shit, muthafucka! I just don't smoke wit it, n' I never will.
When you say better graphics, you're implying (at least from what I gathered), which could run the game at higher settings and a more crisp picture. You went on to Wind Waker, which takes a completely different art direction. I agree with you that games that go for art like that hold up over time far longer than games that go for a realistic look. But I feel you should approach what you say with against the arguer, with the same logic you use to defend your points.
Like this for example. I could say the exact same thing you just did, only swapping it around for Wind Waker.
If you re-read what I said, I stated more STABLE frame rates. As in, it doesn't dip down as much. It's the reason I dislike Revelations 2 on PS4 more so than Xbone (at least before the fix). It constantly dipped down to 24 frames or lower and was just jarring. If a game is 60fps but is constantly dropping, as opposed to a stable 30 frames, you're correct in thinking I'd take the 30fps. I'm not coming from a "LOL 60fps always better" standpoint when I stated that.

When I think of better graphics, I think of things more so like how shadows looks, the lighting, and the anti-aliasing, along with Ambient Occlusion.I suppose you could say shadows, and lighting are a big deal for me in games.

Nothing about it is objective, except for the not-having-to-worry-about-backwards-compatibility thing. That's pretty much the only thing you have.

Again, believe it or not, someone might actually like unstable frame rates. They might think it enhances the experience in some way. Are you going to tell them that they're wrong?

I feel like you're just against the argument for the sake of going against it. Usually with devils advocate you throw the other side of the perspective at someone, however I've not met anyone or heard anyone support this perspective you're presenting.

The point is that it's conceivable that such an individual could exist, and that can't be ignored. If you've never met anyone in your life who doesn't enjoy pizza, you can't just assume that everyone likes pizza.
You've clearly said time and time again that you like stable frames when opposed to 60 fps because you can't tell the difference. So you're telling me you suddenly like 1 frame a second (which isn't even a moving picture) to support your argument?
