The burden of proof is on you. I have never seen a modern console for $20 in any sort of second hand shop or market. Saying "there's one for $20 down the street and I won't bring you proof because you can't make me" is tantamount to saying "there's a flying unicorn in my backyard but you can't see him because he's invisible".

But when did I ever say that? I never said that. I said that you could find a modern console for $20 at a flea market, or, more likely, some kind of rummage sale. Just like you could probably find a nice gaming PC for that price, too. The point is that the "cost efficiency" is completely irrelevant.

And you're far more likely to find a cheap modern console than you are a cheap gaming PC at a rummage sale or a flea market.

If you want to play Stalker, Starcraft, Homeworld, ARMA, EVE, et cetera, et cetera, you have no option to on a console.

Now why the fuck would I want to play SHIT games like that?

This means that the PC is superior because I say so and these are games I like are better than the games you like because I don't have to justify myself because I'm always right.

So Verb you're basically doing it to show how other people act like it (since you said PC guys do it all the time)?Yeah, I can understand the annoyance in that. Like I said, anyone who does that "lol has no games" crap and is legitimately serious about it, needs to die. It seems to be like the console superiority mindset is just a way for people to make themselves feel better about their (parents) purchase.

Basically yeah. The underlying point of everything I've said about the quality of the games on each platform is that, if I'm not allowed to argue that PC has no games, then PC gamers aren't allowed to argue that PC gaming has "more games." That would be hypocrisy, because the implication is that console has less or worse games. So you see the hypocrisy there.

PC elitists are cancer, so my natural response is to put on a console elitist facade to make fun of them. I still prefer console, and I'll defend it forever, but as far as claiming that my opinions are objective goes? That's not genuine.

Anyway, I don't feel like addressing all the points you threw at me since it seems other did when I was afk. Simply put, whatever games you prefer on whichever console has them is perfectly fine. It seems you were on about exclusives though, which is something that Xbone has all but gotten rid of it seems (not a fan of exclusives).

See for me, I love Total War games as you've seen before. That and other things that I can't get on console, hence why I enjoy it a lot more.

I understand. I just can't get into strategy games.

I really wish they'd call them something, else, though, because I like strategy, and I like strategizing, but I don't like what you do in games like Total War, Civilization, Sins of a Solar Empire, Starcraft, etc.. It's just so mind-numbingly slow-paced, and even if something happens, I stopped giving a shit ten minutes ago.

You're either saying
- PC gaming has more good games, which would be hypocritical of you--or, if you're not saying that,

But who cares? It's not the number of games that should matter. Quality > quantity. You can't use that as an argument for why PC gaming is "objectively" superior if I'm not allowed to just say that they all suck.

Whether you like it or not Verb, PC does have a wider variety of games, are a lot of them good no but there are also a very large variety of games that grasp the attention of a lot of gamers and it grossly expands from the effect that consoles do.

I am saying facts,  dont be a bitch if you really want me to get numbers I can. Now no one here is really a PC elitist, I just argue with obvious logic, Im sorry if that doesnt please you.

Now does PC have 'better' games, now thats subjective and impossible to argue as everyone has a different opinion, but there is a much larger number of games, and with the efforts of steam, a lot of old console games re-releasing which in turn would increase the heightened chance of a 'good' game.

Ill just through in that as of late a lot of console games play better on PC because they were intended to be played on a high end machine, modern consoles arent that. They play at lower frame rates and lower resolutions, resolutions I can live without but a gimped frame rate? Your argument is if its the devs 'choice' to have that framerate (lets say 30) then theyll obviously tweek the game to accommodate.  But that does work here because they didnt have that choice and would place it on 60 fps if they could, but cannot because of the power of the said console.

Now you can say it sucks all you want, but I'll always be here to tell you why you're wrong.

Lastly the 'power' of a console matters (and pc aswell) because like I just demonstrated it gives the devs more flexibility to create a game really worth playing, may it be the ability to churn out nice graphics or a good framerate.
