Kinda big news if you are familiar with the podcast beyond stuff (which they'll still be doing as freelancers). IGN just lost a big chunk of their playstation division.

Sounds like they're doing their own youtube/patreon thing. Makes me wonder just how much of a strain sites like Youtube and Twitch are putting on traditional gaming news outlets.

The podcast beyond stuff is probably the best playstation podcast out there. That and they're pretty up to date with the news side of things without getting overly opinionated. Its the review side that is tripe.

It's a site that schmucks use to pay regular donations to youtubers/other fgts to support their work. Kind of like advertising used to do until people got sick of Cillit bang earrape commercials and got adblock.
Not really a subscription iirc, but still kind of silly.
