If you know, you know.
Just this

Okay, this is a 3/5 game. With four disks, I thought it would be longer. The most tedious part was evidence gathering the warehouse. Everything else went pretty smooth. If you like X-files and can find a copy cheap, check it out.

Now onto this bad boy:

Well this one was a mixed bag. Overall another 3/5 game. It would have scored higher if it wasn't for the controls. They are so infuriating. I can't count the number of times I was trying to just enter the door but instead the character getting stuck on geometry or walking into a wall beside the door and automatically turning perpendicular to the door I am trying to enter. This made the timed sections such a frustrating experience.
Another issue is the occasional pixel hunting you have to do. There would be times where your character would not interact with a quest item unless you were standing just in the right spot. Its annoying in regular play, but then when you have a timer. Just ugh. Worse - sometimes you would try to interact with one item and he would either interact with something else or start talking to a nearby NPC.
The positives are a good story, graphics and sound. When the gameplay is not being ass - its quite enjoyable. There are only a few (I counted two) spots where you can screw yourself and not be able to proceed. I strongly suggest you have at least two active saves at all times.

Now onto:

C-12 is an absolute anomaly. It has great enemy designs and the graphics are alright but the writing is meh at best and voice acting for the most part is good but sometimes dips to Requital-tier trash. I liked the use of the first-person view which let you point at things and read about them. Worst part - the camera. This camera doesn't know if it wants to be line in Resident evil or tomb raider and would frequently make me screw up some platforming sections. The game also bugged out once (an NPC was supposed to open a door for me, but just stood in front of it) and I had to replay a chunk. Had to cheat at the final mission because they introduced enemies that stunned you. And I don't mean for a second or two, I mean for solid 5! And there is a pair of these guys, so one would stun me while the other would shoot and then they would swap attacks and I would get stunned by the other. I gave up and put on god mode. Fuck you, game.
Final boss looks cool as hell. Another 3/5. But I can't say you are missing out much if you never played it.
Not sure whats next on the list... Perhaps this?

Playing R6 with the stock PS1 controller (d-pad) is not ideal. The tougher difficulties are basically impossible since you can't strafe and quickly shoot. I am sticking to Easy for now.

Also finished Duke Nukem: Land of the babes. Its actually one of the best 3rd person shooters on PS1. The Motherbrain boss sucked though. Its just an empty room with the boss right in front of you. No cover. The ending is 10/10 hilarious.

For context: Earth was invaded by aliens that killed all of the male population (SecondClass's wet dream basically) and so Duke need to re-populate it.

On Rainbow 6 - Was almost done with the mission, evacuating a hostage. She falls off a ladder and dies. Mission failed.
Fuck you, lady.
