Make use of the squad leader powers. Having a good leader that's able to make quick decisions to get the whole squads extra points is one of the most important things that a leader is supposed to do. The most important thing is the leader needs to blow their whistle and say Go! Go! to motivate the troops and whoever's around. If you're in a car it's even more important to use the whistle as much as you can to the point where you always hear a whistle.

If you do join a team, and the leader is inactive, the leadership will be transferred to whoever requests an order first. It'll take some amount of time that I can't specify because I don't remember, but regardless, if the leader doesn't give any orders they lose their position.

How detailed is the emblem creation tool? I'm very picky with games that utilize this after coming from Armored Core 4.
