The story is magnificent when you take the time to traverse the wastes and find all the notes. That's the thing though I guess, people that don't like to work for their story will hate it. As far as difficulty that's once again player preference as well. I personally like to make the game as challenging as I possibly can.

Fair enough.

I like Dark Souls, so I like to piece some story together.

I've appreciated the stuff CMT has made between 2007 and now for Halo Custom Edition. I'd put Yoyorast Island v2 up there but they made it weird by putting up WWII poster girls in bikinis everywhere. The Floods map series was pretty cool, although it wasn't very polished and it was permanently set to French. Other than that, maps like Aquarii, BC Raceway, Grove, Wartorn Cove and Immure are pretty cool too.

I haven't played dust, but one of my favorite gas mask mods apparently adds new features to that mod or something like that if you use them together.
