Brotherhood was brilliant.
Revelations was good.
3 was awful.
Black Flag was fantastic.
Unity was awful.
Syndicate is pretty good.

by continuing to pay out every year you only encouraged the development of terrible games.

Encouraging it so much that they're completely changing the development schedule of the games and adding another year onto the already 3 year development the games are already in.
Plus I bought Black Flag and Syndicate for cheap months later because of how shit the previous ones were, and because both (BF and Syndicate) are pretty well received games.

One this month, the Arbaaz Mir/India one, and the other releases next month, the Nikolai Orelov/Russia one.

There's already a mobile game that got a soft launched in Australia in 2014. It was supposed to release in 2015 for the US and Europe but it never did, so they might release it this year instead.

Plus there's the movie releasing this December which they'll probably use to fill this year's gap.

I still need to get Syndicate. Does it actually run well? I suffered through Unity, but never again!

This sounds pretty interesting though. Not sure how well AC could work in that time period, if we're talking B.C here. But we'll find out.

Also willing to bet if there isn't a new AC this year, they'll release that collection. As long as it works, and has some upgrades, I'd buy it. I still haven't played 1, Brotherhood, or Revelations really.

I wouldn't say it's crap. It's really just for people who like the lore of the universe. It doesn't really have a super strong narrative now that Desmond died. My guess is they didn't really plan for anything after 3 since it all led up to 2012. It fell off after that.

The TWCB stuff is fine, and doesn't need the Modern Day story.

Desmond and the Modern Day story was shit to begin with and was really nothing more than a half baked attempt to bridge the games, which wasn't at all necessary because there's already multiple things bridging them.

I'm glad they killed off Desmond (because he was as awful as Connor), and glad that the Modern Day story is taking a back seat to the real reason people buy the games; the historical settings.

Every time I was forced to leave the Animus and forced to play as that cunt Desmond (or faceless character who works for Abstergo Entertainment aka Ubisoft) made me hate the game a little bit every time.
