Following the massive success of the Portal Franchise, which hit its limit in number of sequels according to the Valve Enumeration Mathematical Base, Valve has top secret Plans in the work on a NEW IP in the Half Life universe.

God only knows what this means, but it may shed some light on facets of the Universe we've been wondering about.

Of course, there are many things this could be. So many, speculation is practically pointless. Did anyone expect an Aperture Science franchise? Not really, but it happened. The odds that it will tie into the story of Portal or Half Life in any meaningful way are slim to none.

This is, of course, old news, but I hadn't seen anything about it and wanted to share.

I just hope that this game is going to be worth the weight.

After 20 years in development, hopefully it was worth the weight.
