Is minecraft worth playing?

It's been sitting in my computer for a few years seeing no use. Is it any fun to play? Anything you do to keep it entertaining?

Its a great time waste if you dont have anything else to do.

Minecraft used to be fun without those 9 12 year old kids that just goes on SkyDoesMinecraft's videos. Minecraft sucks now.

Yeah, exactly my problem with it. The community is a complete shambles. I remember it back in early 2012, those were the days.

I didn't discover it until 2012, it was around the time where the game had sold 6 million copies.

ive played since alpha, and the community definitely took a downturn when it hit "mainstream" status. im a fan of the simpler nature of the older versions of the game. it was really relaxing

The community is extremely off-putting nowadays, even if you play alone. Those cancerous youtubers, ugh.

I miss the alpha/beta days. Got my minecraft on a discount!

Had an old server with an internet buddy I haven't talked to in ages. Lots of nostalgia every time I boot up the seed. Had a server with tons of mods like world edit (whatever it's called) and flying. Good old days.
