Fallout 3 is just boring. In general, I can't stand open-world games, because I never know what the fuck to do. I always just end up doing the main quest, but then it just feels like I'm missing out on something else, because they intentionally make the main quest boring to make the other stuff seem more interesting. It's just constant, unending, time-wasting bullshit.

Super Metroid just happens to be the best game ever, to me.

You bet I could, but it's honestly been a long time since I've played it, so the short blurb that I posted above (which I guess you missed) is all I can really say about my experience with it right now. I just don't have fond memories of playing it.

You should play Fallout 1 and 2 if you can. They're pretty unique, and even though they're old (might take some time getting used to the mechanics), I think the atmosphere is just as good, if not better than 3/NV.
