some of the oldest cards are still the best, which is why alot of the cards on the banlist are older ones

I'm surprised people still play physical card games.

I remember back when monster cards that had Effects were few in number.  These days EVERY fucking Monster card has an effect.  What the fuck dude

I liked the little bits of lore the normal monsters had.

Anywho, I remember all my friends spending weeks setting up decks built around a specific set of monsters or effects. They'd labor over it until they got it just right...and then I basically just threw together a bunch of cards that were shiny or had a ton of stars or were otherwise overpowered and beat them. Fun times. All those 'theme' decks Konami put out didn't amount to much.
