First off: not every game is made in Unity, and not every editor is like Unity. Second: do you seriously think the botched customization is because AAA devs couldn't figure out how to child an object? You can't assume you know exactly what issues the dev team was facing when they made that decision. Third: why are useless cosmetics the deal-breaker for a video game, let alone a console purchase?

Something else that bugs is me is not being able to see our emblems on the scoreboard during matches. What's the point of having an emblem if you can't even see it?
Still better than what Halo 5 will be

What's the point of having an emblem if you can't even see it?because people might have emblems that didnt exist in a game?if someone has a bubble shield, then obvs i wouldnt be able to see it in halo 2 since it didnt exist... i can see why the did that and i dont mind at all
Even if the indie devs manage to pull something out of the gaping hole that is their ass
Microsoft will cease and desist that shit into the ground so fast.

Instead of getting the game because you either found it fun or you like the story of the game you want to get it just because of armor dress up. That's just retarded. To make it even more retarded you hardly ever see your own armor in the game.
