Every boss until now you've been able to survive at least one hit. All of Nameless Kings attacks 1-shot. This could take awhile to get a flawless run.

40 int 40 Faith Pyro builds are the best non quality setup in the game for both PvE and PvP

Pyro
-Onyx Blade: Semi Decent Greatsword dispite having 3 way split dammage
-Demon's Scar: Good at everything it does. As a melee it delivers pure fire dammage so your hits actualy do good dammage, and it's moveset and weapon art make it combo incredibly well with your pyromancy casts, which, while not as powefull as the regular flame, still provides respectable dammage.
-Fire Surge: Flamethreower that provides probably the most reliable chip dammage of any cast
-Fan Flame is a melee that cant be parries
-Black Serpant is solid pressure, and one of the few casts with any meaningfull tracking let alone the amount it has,
-Black Flame . Instant sheild break for a reposte, no further explanation required
-Chaos Bed Vestages: Nearly game breaking how strong this is. It's simply a massive projectile that hits like a truck, and has splash dammage. Great primary damage output spell in PvE and can give you comebacks from the worst deficits in PvP. It wont take more than 3 direct hits to down anyone.

On the other hand you also have the optinon for faith which include
-all sorts health recovery options
-Talsimans weapon arts that give insane hyper armor which lets you trade with melee builds, which leads us to...
-Lightning Storm, Lifehunt Sythe, and Lightning Stake all trade exelently against most melee builds
-Dhory's Gnawing: Bleed is fucking busted in PvE, have fun.
-Lightning arrow is probably the single best cast in PvP for the sheer fact that it can be held and free-aimed. Doing a faith or pyro build is worth is JUST for this spell.
-Buffs (Only viable in PvE but still)

And that's not even touching darkbuffed Mad King's Crucifix or any of the sorcery options you have (although INT probably has the worst spells in the game TBH) or the fact that you will probably still have the STR and Dex to weild whatever Raw memesword you want and buff it with whatever you want.

So, I think I may have run into fy first legitimate cheater on this game.

Is there an explanation for a fully upgraded Dragonslayer Swordspear with 400 AR to do literaly 79 damage to a player, and for them to have actual poise? It was legitimately like fighting a Pre-SOTFS havel twink in Souls 2

The moveset of the boss is pretty easy to remember, but it can catch you and punish you very hard.

Yeah, most of my deaths were when he'd do the lunge forward attack and I'd get stuck underneath him and I couldn't see what he'd do next. Even on my SL120 character Gael was tough. This might take a while.

What do you mean? I agree that Dark Souls 3 has a lot of annoying issues because of the Bloodbornitis, but I don't see what that has to do with Midir specifically.

He's so big, aims the fire spray directly at his toes and people try and outrun it to his tail, which requires basically perfect timing. Instead of just backing off slightly and hitting him in the head straight after. I mean that sentence right there is the entire strategy to Midir. Unlike other bosses where you just roll to dodge, with him you also have to roll in a way that places you in the right spot to hit him.

The fact that you can roll so many damn times in 3 is probably the biggest problem, you don't necessarily have to roll good if you can just do it like 8 time back to back, only certain boss movesets counter that, so people get through most of the game fine but then struggle with Champion Gundyr's rushing or Nameless King's delayed swings etc

I was stubborn enough to master the art of running to his tail lmao. Definietely the best strategy that worked for me, beat him first try on NG+ and NG++

Panicked so much when he finished his laser spam attack and I fucked up the critical attack on his head. I still have yet to actually perform it, for some reason I keep hitting his head in the wrong place or something
