Dark Souls (Chaos Metal Complaining)

I'd like to think the painting at the end is a nod to Bloodborne, with Yharnam just being another painted world of the Souls series. The similarities of the hunt, the old blood, and a cold world without fire seem to be more than subtle hints of a connection, though I sincerely doubt it would ever be made canon.

I don't know why, but I was hoping for a marginally happy ending. Gael was an interesting character, but he wasn't in the series until the DLC so it's hard to really appreciate him.

I've gotten bad frame drops too, but within the last 4 days everything's been fine.

Final boss was definitely a damage sponge and the weapon you get from his soul was a bit underwhelming. Certainly a lot of better weapons in the DLC. Still have to beat Midir who also seems to be a damage sponge.

I know, I basically had a summon defeat him for me. The hitboxes are so weird on large enemies like that. I couldn't land an attack for the life of me.

I liked the Friede boss fight a lot more tbh. I thought it was one of the best in the series, though it was pretty damn difficult.

I see your problem: your choice in weapons is correct, but you are using the wrong armor i'm afraid. You forgot your two Black Flames as well, and are you wearing your Havel's ring and ring of favor?

Okay can I just farm Vertibre Shackles off of someone here. I'm sick of this game's PvP and I legitametely dont want to play it ever again. TWO FUCKING MATCHES IN A ROW I have been backstabed by a person that I was actively hitting, as in they literaly took the damage and still backstabed me somehow.

I farmed them from the two skeleton warrior dudes outside the first Catacombs of Carthus bonfire
