I really cant not get over the shitty level design in DS2, every time I try to get into the game again the design just reminds me why I never bother
the one true God is Doctor Doom and we should all be worshiping him.

YouTubeThis was probably the most fun fighting a boss in DS2.

I imagine that they'll one-shot me. I wonder if alluring skulls will work on them so I can distract them as I run past.Edit: Right before the ice bridge to the boss room there are 2-3 paindeer that spawn, plus a npc with power-stanced avelyns.Well designed fun.

Didn't even bother finishing the area on original release, wasn't fun and not even a new boss at the end so I said fuck it. Might try again next time I play 2, but that sounds even more annoying.
This happened simply form me playing the game. I'd like to go to Japan just to drag Hidetaka Miyazaki out of his office and bludgeon him to death in the middle of the streets with a bat.
Finished up DkS1 last night, and I wasn't too impressed. The last of the four souls I collected was from the Bed of Chaos, so the last few hours of the game for me were the Demon Ruins and Lost Izalith.Demon Firesage was easy as shit, Centipede Demon was easy as shit (except for some framerate trouble from the lava), and the Ceaseless Discharge literally kills itself. The Bed of Chaos wasn't even a boss fight, you just have to whack three things with your sword. Then all that's left is Gwyn, right? He was no harder than a typical black knight, and he went down with 5 fireballs. For basically everything being demons born from fire, or in Gwyn's case the 'Lord of Cinder', they all go down easy from pyromancy.Anyways, it was a great game and I enjoyed the fights, it was just a bit disappointing to breeze through the last levels and curbstomp all the bosses. Even the infamous Tomb of Giants was easy.
