I mean that's one way to look at it, I prefer to view it as captive breeding release schemes.Since froakies are extinct in the wild, me releasing 500 of the buggers singlehandedly is doing something to help them REEEEEEEEestablish themselves.

I don't release my breeding refuse, I Wonder Trade it. That way I know at least someone is going to find a use for it. The only Pokemon I release is the "Route 1 garbage" that comes from Wonder Trade.

When I breed and I get a Pokemon that has 4 IVs rather than the 5 I'm looking for, I'll Wonder Trade it off so that hopefully another breeder will come across it and benefit off of it.
I love Pokemon but this is a it far, creepy even.
